Studio Guidelines

Rules

Booking is easiest for us when you include a concise description of your vision detailing placement and size in inches or centimeters. We gently ask that you reserve detailing your emotional connection to the piece until you are being tattooed. Your story is important to us and we want to hold space for it. 

Please understand that certain body parts are harder for us to work with and will incur an applied cost (i.e ribs, sternum, neck, fingers, head) and we do not tattoo faces, fingers, or hands unless you already have prominently visible tattoos. 

About your visit

The address of the studio will be revealed upon booking. We’re located in a mostly residential urban neighborhood with plenty of street parking. Please inform us ahead of time if you have any special needs or mobility issues.

Preparing for your appointment

Please wear something comfortable that you can freely move around in. Ink and blood won’t vibe well with your favorite white shirt, so dress appropriately.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Be sure to not drink heavily the night before your appointment, the process will hurt more and dehydrated skin isn’t fun to work with.


Please be sure to eat something no less than three hours before your appointment.

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit will be applied to your session and includes a one time rollover if you need to reschedule and let us know before 48 hours of your appointment. A 48 hour advanced notice is required for cancellations and/or rescheduling. Giving less than 48 hours notice for a cancellation will result in the forfeit of your deposit. If you do not show up to your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited. If you need to reschedule your appointment you may transfer your deposit over ONE time, as long as you give more than 48 hours notice. Repeat rescheduling will require another deposit to be made.

 

We are grateful to be operational during this strange and sensitive time, and want to assure our visitors and clients that we are taking every precaution to keep you safe. 

Please be super honest with us and let us know if you’re feeling under the weather on the day of your appointment, we will happily reschedule and you will not lose your deposit. 

Since you are our priority, we like to keep the space private and serene during your appointment so that we can concentrate on your piece. We have implemented a no guest policy. If it is absolutely imperative for you to bring a guest, please get it approved by your artists before your appointment.

Please arrive at your scheduled time. If you come early, there are coffee shops in the area and a waiting couch outside of the studio door. 

If you are a minor, you must get approval by your artist and come accompanied by a legal guardian. We will need to see your birth certificate, picture ID and a proof of relation with you and your guardian’s name on it. Your guardian must come with a state-issued picture ID. There will be no exceptions.
