About your visit

We are located at 195 New York Ave. Jersey City, NJ 07307 Basement Studio.

The Heights is mostly a residential urban neighborhood with plenty of street parking.

Please do not park in the lot attached to the building as it is a private parking lot.

Inform us ahead of time if you have any special needs or mobility issues.

Preparing for your appointment

  • Please wear comfortable clothing that also provides easy access to the area being tattooed. Ink and blood won’t vibe well with your favorite white shirt or wearing super tight leggings for a hip tattoo!

  • Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Be sure to not drink alcohol heavily the night before your appointment! Drink plenty of water leading up and during your appointment!

  • Please be sure to eat something no less than three hours before your appointment. We recommend you bring your favorite snacks as well!

  • Bring headphones in case you want to zone out and listen to your own music/podcast. Please be considerate of others and don’t play music or facetime from your phone’s speakers.

  • If you are sensitive to bright light, bring sunglasses as our lamps can sometimes be directly in your eyes.

  • We have plenty of pillows and blankets but we also love to see your go to comforts, if you have a special pillow, stuffed animal or a blanket that may make you feel cozy and at home, bring it along!

  • Please understand that certain body parts are harder for us to work with and will incur an applied cost (i.e ribs, sternum, neck, fingers, head) and we do not tattoo faces, fingers, or hands unless you already have prominently visible tattoos. 

  • Please arrive at your scheduled time. If you come early, there are coffee shops in the area and a waiting couch outside of the studio door. 

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit will be applied to your session and includes a one time rollover. If you need to reschedule, let us know 48 hours before your appointment. Giving less than 48 hours notice for a cancellation will result in the forfeit of your deposit. If you do not show up to your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited. Repeat rescheduling will require another deposit.

Guest Policy 

Since you are our priority, we like to keep the space private and serene during your appointment so that we can concentrate on you and your tattoo. We have implemented a no guest policy. If it is absolutely imperative for you to bring a guest, please get it approved by your artists before your appointment.

Minor Policy

If you are a minor, you must get approval by your artist and come accompanied by a legal guardian. We will need to see your birth certificate and a picture ID with your name on it, like a school ID. Your guardian must present their state issued ID and it must match the name on the birth certificate/certificate of guardianship.
